Tory Burch Spring Summer 2019 Ready-To-Wear Collection
Silk crepe de chine blouse with tie collar & Silk georgette skirt
Silk wool twill dress
Lace and cotton poplin shirt and skirt
Tencel twill tunic & Gemini Link cotton jacquard skirt
Set in the garden of the Cooper Hewitt Museum, surrounded by the deep greens and bright summery yellows of the freshly set lemon trees, Tory Burch celebrated Summer in true bohemian style.
Inspired by the wanderlust of her parents Buddy and Reva, Burch’s Spring/Summer 2019 collection features styles reminiscent of their Summer trips to Greece, Italy, Morocco and Spain.
Silk wool twill wrap dress
Striped wool and linen cardigan | Something Wild-print silk satin blouse, pant and slip dress
Embellished chiffon caftan
The collection is an embodiment of the comfort and quintessential carefree quality of Summer coupled with an expert balance of volume and tailoring. And while the collection featured mostly crisp whites and cream hues, there were still pops of the classic Tory Burch greens, blues and oranges that we’ve come to know and love.
Nautical-print cotton voile tunic & Flared raw denim pant
Gabardine safari shirt & Jersey Dress
Flocked tulle dress & Satin silk slip dress
Front: Embroidered cotton poplin wrap dress | Middle: Moroccan raffia and linen coat, pant and skirt | Back: Crochet cotton dress
This is a great example of how the designer has managed to create a style that’s invitingly familiar while constantly evolving. From the romantic lace maxis to the sveltely tailored tunics, it was easy to see that Burch had designed this collection for the adventurous, well-travelled woman.
(PS. We’re so thrilled to see local model Mei Yue killing it on the runway!)
