Honoured to be repping Singapore once again for Pomelo’s Fall 2017 Collection. As with my earlier Summer campaign with them, we flew down to Bangkok, where Pomelo’s main HQ sits, to shoot the social-media collaterals. This time it was no holds barred: we were introduced to the largest in-house collection – 100 pieces to be exact – Pomelo has ever launched. Aptly named Chase the Dream, this collection is all about challenging every woman to wear without limits, unleashing their inner star!
… & unleashing my inner star (or at least I attempted to) was essentially the theme of our video shoot! Today’s blog post features behind-the-scenes moments caught on set, and as you can tell, a lot of effort and creative forces came together to put everything together! The outfits pulled for the shoot are perfect for the upcoming festive season: featuring glitzy fabrics, celestial appliqués, star-shaped sequined patterns – my favourite from the shoot has got to be the Nicha Star Cut Out Shoulder Top, and Midori Star Sheer Maxi Skirt. Other favourites that you don’t see here, but are available on the site are the Labuki Oversized Blazer, Lan Flared Trousers, Riku Flared Overalls.
Separately, if you have not seen it, I especially love the main campaign lookbook featuring Thai actress Thanaerng. Edgy street styling coupled with neon coloured-gel colours definitely brings out the underground scene girl personality that is Pomelo’s Fall Collection.
P.S. All first orders on Pomelo are delivered free of charge and arrive from web to wardrobe within three working days. Also, Pomelo has a 365-days return policy: free returns on all orders via 90+ drop-off points scattered throughout Singapore.
