Singapore City Guide: TokyoBike x Mr & Mrs Smith

Now this is one collaboration I’m excited about. I’ve teamed up with Yanaka-founded bicycle company Tokyobike and award-winning boutique-hotel booking service Mr and Mrs Smith to come up with a one-day city guide that I think you would love!

What makes this collaboration even more exciting is, Tokyobike is offering a full-day complimentary bike hire to anyone for the month of April to encourage “me-time”: enjoy your city your way, while enjoying the journey (and the functionality of Tokyobike’s bikes) as well.

All you need to do if you want a free one-day bike hire, is email to reserve a bike (includes lights, lock and helmet), arrange a date for pickup, and head to their Haji Lane store (opening hours: 1-8pm) to collect your bike for the day!

This partnership is extended to Tokyobike stores overseas as well: Tokyo, London, New York and Melbourne. I’m actually heading to Tokyo and London for the month of April, and I am pretty excited to try and fit this biking city tour in my itinerary if I can!

Two weeks ago, I rented a Tokyobike for a couple of hours, and compiled a list of things that I would like to do, shop and eat at. All the suggestions below are within a 2-kilometre radius from Tokyobike’s Haji Lane store, so you can explore as much as you can within the day’s rental duration. Read on to find out more!
