Exploring South Australia (Part 2)

2 days in Kangaroo was a good amount of time to explore the Island. If I wasn’t there for work I’d spend another night just relaxing and taking in the breathtaking views of Kangaroo Island. We visited Little Sahara, Remarkable Rocks, Admirals Arch, and Vivonne Bay during our 2D1N Kangaroo Island tour. There are of course, more hotspots we could have touched on, but time was of the essence and we could only cover these spots. The rainy weather didn’t help as well, so I would strongly recommend coming during Spring or Summer when the weather clears up!

Kangaroo Island offers many accomodation choices, but we stayed at Sea Dragon Lodge for our night on KI. The lodge is as big as a vacation chalet in Singapore, comes equipped with a BBQ Pit, a deck, kitchen, and stunning sea views with access to the beach just a few minutes away. The lodge can accommodate up to 4 per lodge, and I would definitely recommend Sea Dragon if you are traveling as a family or with a group of friends, just because you have a big lodge to yourself with all the ammenities you need to call the lodge your temporary “home”!

All in all, our KI adventure was everything the traveler in me could ask for – 4WD? Check! Amazing scenic spots? Check! Non-touristy vibes? Check! KI is a must-visit when you head to South Adelaide.

Hi Andrea,
I work for KIWT and organised your recent visit with South Australian Tourism. You have some absolutely stunning images here that we would love to use if possible.
Could you email me on reservations@wildernesstours.com.au ?
Even if we had to wait a few months before we were able ti use them that would be fine. We can copy them from Facebook but as you know the resolution is very poor. We would need the original resolution. .
