Crochet Romper: The Tinsel Rack
Hello from South Africa! It has always been a dream of mine to visit South Africa, so when Joyce (founder of The Tinsel Rack) and I came together to start planning on another #dreaxttr collaboration (we’ve been to Morocco and Japan for TTR before!), South Africa was top on the list! We are going to do Johannesburg for 5 days, and Cape Town for 3, super exciting stuff!
It’s honestly absolutely surreal to be here, it’s basically National Geographic – but real life – and we were really lucky to have found this amazing lodge you see in today’s pictures at Kruger National Park. To get to Kruger National Park you have to land into Johannesburg, you can either take a domestic flight from Kruger to Nelspruit/ rent or hire a car from Johannesburg and drive 6-7 hours to the park. Kruger National Park is probably the best place to go in South Africa if you want to see as many animals as possible, there are other parks and safaris around of course, but Kruger is the only home to the Super 6 (Cheetahs, Lions, Elephants, Leopards, Rhinos, Buffaloes) and more.
We are spending 4 days here in Singita Lebombo, and going out on 2 game drives per day (morning and evening). Am really excited to see what’s in store and to show you the shots we have taken thus far! First game drive outfit is this The Tinsel Rack Crochet Romper, top it off with safari-coloured boots and a hat, and you’re safari ready!
