Today's outfit post was shot at Hotel de Invalides, a museum/ hospital/ residence dedicated to war veterans, hence the military canons you see me posing with in the first photo. Hotel de Invalides is a good place to go if you are looking to photograph beautiful gardens or admire Parisian architecture - but if you're not into the army or war-related themes, you might want to give this place a miss. The Hotel is a really good place to shoot, Amanda and I found ourselves frequenting the Hotel during our stay because 1. it was really pretty to photograph and 2. we stayed just right next to it!
I'm featuring a pair of gorgeous xHysteria boots in today's blog post - I love the perfect combination of the glass heel (perspex is all the rage right now) and the cut-out leather design. Plus, because the shoes are so unique they immediately become a conversational piece whenever I wear it out! People are always intrigued by the glass heel and I always get asked "can you walk in them? is it comfortable?!" - and to answer that question, yes it's perfectly walkable!!! It's really comfortable to boot because the height of the heel is not that high, and the weight is evenly distributed across the glass panel. If you are intending to get the shoe, the sizing runs true to size, so if you are a size 37 like myself, you should be able to fit the design's size 37 well. To get these babies, click here.
Till tomorrow guys! In tomorrow's blog post, I'll *finally* be sharing my makeup routine, so stay tuned for that! (:
