A thing you definitely must do when touring Paris is to visit the museums. While Amanda and I didn't get the opportunity to visit the Lourve or the Grand Palais due to our hectic work schedule, we did pay a visit to Musee Rodin and Petit Palais, where we shot today's photo set!
Entry to the Petit Palais is free, and I would recommend the museum only if you appreciate decorative murals and sculptures. Otherwise, you might prefer to visit the Grand Palais (which is just located across the Petit Palais), Pont Alexander III (where you can take a river cruise), Hotel Invalides, or the Champs-Élysées shopping district, all of which are just walking distance from the Petit Palais!
I wore a vest and emerald shorts by Earl Grey Party to Petit Palais, and I loved the minimalistic yet edgy feel to this outfit. If you'd like to own them, head on down to Earl Grey Party's website!
I reckon today's look is quite a departure from my usual feminine looks - I recently am trying to experiment with different styles by embracing clothing with more structure and masculinity, like the vest you see today. I've been having this feeling of needing to breakaway from my comfortable casual style and delving into pieces that are more statement worthy, classy, and classic. I've tried styling similar "smart-casual" looks during the duration of my Paris trip, so do let me know what you think when they are up! (:
